Funny Money is a fast-paced farce that follows Henry Perkins, an ordinary man who accidentally picks up the wrong briefcase on the London Underground—one stuffed with cash. Seizing what he believes is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, Henry decides to keep the money and flee the country with his wife. However, his plan quickly spirals into chaos as suspicious police officers, a curious taxi driver, and a series of misunderstandings turn his simple scheme into a whirlwind of lies, mistaken identities, and frantic cover-ups. .

THE ROSE THEATRE
We host a range of events at the Rugeley Rose and are continually expanding the range of entertainment we offer. Our theatre facilities are available for hire by local and travelling theatre groups looking to stage their performance in Staffordshire.
We can offer full technical assistance, a box office facility and bar and refreshment staff for a complete, professional theatre service. Our theatre can seat up to 210 audience members.

THE STUDIO ROOMS
Our two studio rooms are primarily used as dressing rooms during show runs, providing a spacious and comfortable area for performers. When not in use for productions, these rooms are also ideal for music classes, arts & crafts activities, and other creative pursuits, offering flexible space for various artistic needs.

The Rose Features
In addition to our outstanding hireable spaces, our venue offers convenient amenities including a spacious 35-space car park, with additional parking available upon request. Enjoy our large bar, featuring draught beer and a diverse selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. We also provide box office facilities and a generously sized foyer, perfect for welcoming guests and enhancing your event experience.

As soon as you walk through the doors of any Slimming World group, you can be assured of a warm welcome from your Consultant and fellow members – a bunch of really friendly people all at various stages in their weight loss campaign.
Aerial Hoop with Pheebs
5:30 - 8:30pm
Featuring kids beginner hoop, adults beginner hoop, and sunset stretch classes. Sessions are from £10.00 and do require booking in advance. Contact us for more information!

Fusing drama, dance, and vocals, our musical theatre group develops long term projects with an end goal to perform. We believe that mixing with other performers that have different skills and abilities is a great way to make friends and also become inspired.
